On Thursday, April 27th there will be a federal court hearing to determine if a federal receiver will take control of Rikers or if the Adams administration will remain in charge. A recent federal monitor report indicates that conditions on Rikers continue to worsen.

Please join us before the hearing at 1 pm on Thursday, April 27th at Foley Square (Lafayette Street Worth Street, Centre St, New York, NY 10013) to demand that the federal government take control of Rikers from the Adams administration. This is a necessary step to help address the current crisis and help get the city back on track to closing Rikers.
