#FreeThemNowCT Protest at DOC Headquarters
We’re holding a #FreeThemNowCT protest at the DOC Headquarters on Wednesday, September 7th at 11am to demand Governor Lamont and the DOC decarcerate and protect incarcerated people from COVID-19. Since the start of the pandemic, 30 incarcerated people have died from COVID-19 and 9,499 people have tested positive for COVID-19 while in DOC custody. Connecticut needs a substantive and transparent plan to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and safe lives. Register here to attend the protest on September 7th!
Got questions about the upcoming protest? Want to get involved in our #FreeThemNowCT campaign? Please reach out to Kenyatta Muzzanni at kenyatta@katalcenter.org
