CT Harm Reduction Alliance Roast & Toast Gala
Katal members and staff at the CT Harm Reduction Alliance Roast & Toast Gala, 10.10.24
Last week, Katal attended the CT Harm Reduction Alliance (CTHRA) Roast & Toast Gala, honoring a long-time friend and partner, Mark Jenkins, Founder and Director of CTHRA. This special event marked a decade of life-saving work and remarkable contributions that have made a profound impact on our communities. It was an inspiring evening filled with heartfelt tributes and shared stories.
Congratulations to Mark and the entire CTHRA team! We are excited to see you continue to lead in harm reduction and advocacy. Together, we can make an even greater impact in the future!
Harvesting Change 2024
Join us at the Bloomfield Recreation Center (330 Park Ave, Bloomfield) for our annual community visioning session, Harvesting Change! This year’s event features a delicious meal prepared by Chefs Rob Rowe and Betty Brown, engaging workshops, crafts for all ages, and collaborative discussions about food and sustainability.
We’ll reflect on what we’ve learned about BILPOC-owned agribusiness and explore new opportunities for families in underserved neighborhoods. Bring the whole family for an evening of food and fun and envision our future in farming! Click here to register.
Please register early for food and childcare planning. We can’t wait to see you there! If you have any questions, contact Diana Martinez at diana@katalcenter.org.
